Postal Notes, panic of 1893 scrip, panic of 1907 scrip, depression scrip, advertising notes, college currency, and Tiffany Commission Scrip. Published by R. M. Smythe, 2006; 600 pages, heavily illustrated.

Obsolete Paper Money Issued in the United States 1782-1866: A Study and Appreciation for the Numismatist and Historian, by Q. David Bowers. Not a catalog, but a history of the paper money in the context of the era. There are chapters on early American paper money, engraver/printers Jacob Perkins and Abner Reed, the bank note business, banks and banking in the era, the American Bank Note Company, wildcat banking, and more. Published by Whitman, 2006, 598 pages, heavily illustrated in color.
