There are only 10 days left to vote (voting ends May 10) for your favorite articles, books and column for 2015.  Please take the time to vote!  You must be signed in and use the link https://www.spmc.org/vote to vote. Only one vote per category per member. Winners will be announced and honors bestowed at Memphis.

SPMC Journal Now Available for Download

The SPMC Board of Governors is pleased to announce that PDFs of the entire history of its bi-monthly journal, Paper Money, are now available to members to download and use for their own personal reference.

Previously, the journal was posted to the society's website and viewable only through an interface that protects the journal from downloads, printing and copying.  This was set up intentionally due to concerns about unlawful reproduction of the journal.

Ticketed Event 2870

The SPMC breakfast is an annual event at the Memphis International Paper Money Show. This year it's on Friday, June 3, 2016, 7:30am, Crowne Plaza Hotel, 300 North Second Street, Memphis, TN. Breakfast tickets must be purchased in advance by ordering online, or contacting Wendell Wolka, P.O. Box 5439, Sun City Center, FL 33571-5439. Please make checks and/or money orders payable to The Society of Paper Money Collectors, Inc. Tickets are $20 until the day of the breakfast. They are $25 per ticket at the door.

SPMC has a New Membership Secretary

Governor Jeff Brueggeman has taken over the position to allow former secretary Benny Bolin to concentrate his efforts to his role as editor of Paper Money.  Effectively immediately, all dues, membership renewals, address changes, requests for PIN/member numbers, etc to Mr. Brueggeman.  His address is;  Jeff Brueggeman, 711 Signal Mtn. Paper Money Chosen for ANA Award

A panel of judges has selected "Paper Money" to receive the first place award in the specialty category of their annual Club Publications contest. This is a great honor and is to be shared with all of our wonderful authors, columnists, proofreaders and other contributors. Without them, "Paper Money" would not exist.

This award is the culmination of a lot of hard work by many dedicated people who have endured and overcome challenges and obstacles during the past year.

Live Demo of SPMC Obsolete Online Database Project

Project leaders for the SPMC online obsolete database project will host a live demo at the International Paper Money Show in Memphis on Saturday, June 20 at 2pm.  The location will be the Nashville Room at the Sheraton Hotel adjacent to the Convention Center.
